The Greenville County Sheriff's Office said a man is in custody after he intentionally crashed into multiple vehicles and structures.

Deputies said in the early morning hours of Feb. 3, 31-year-old Stephen Earl Brown II burglarized a residence on Claybrooke Drive and stole a 2004 Honda Odyssey.

Investigators said Brown took the vehicle and drove to Smythe Street where he intentionally crashed into multiple vehicles at the Lofts of Greenville and caused "extensive" damage to the security gate.

He then drove to the Walgreens on White Horse Road and deliberately crashed into the front of the business, deputies said. After that, he returned to the Lofts and crashed into more vehicles before driving to the Gorilla Car Wash on Old Easley Bridge Road, investigators said.

According to deputies, before fleeing the scene without the car, he crashed into a wall multiple times at the car wash.

The motive for the incidents is unknown.

He was arrested on Feb. 16 and is currently being held at the Greenville County Detention Center on a $69,500 bond. He is charged with first-degree burglary, grand larceny, petit larceny and 15 counts of malicious injury to property.
