Mostly cloudy conditions continue as record high temperatures become possible toward late-week.
Later today, expect the clouds to hang tough but perhaps break up somewhat toward afternoon. This should help temperatures reach the upper 60s to low 70s with a few spotty showers remaining possible.
Thursday looks a touch warmer with highs in the mid 70s and just a small chance for rain.
Friday looks even warmer area-wide as temperatures near record levels (mid to upper 70s) and little to no chance for rain.
Saturday stays warm and still holds a small chance of rain, but Sunday is still expected to bring scattered to numerous showers to the region.
Rain could linger into Monday, but for now Tuesday looks dry and pleasant.
