Deputies: Suspect at large after Union Co. chase

CARLISLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

The Union County Sheriff's Office said a suspect is on the loose after a pursuit on Thursday.

Deputies said the chase began in Chester County before crossing into Union County. Authorities from Chester, Fairfield and Union counties were involved in the pursuit.

According to the incident report, the chase continued onto SC-72 and eventually ended when the suspect vehicle pulled into a driveway on Mt. Joy Church Road.

The driver jumped out and fled on foot, deputies said. A K-9 tracking team was unable to locate the suspect.

Deputies said they towed a black Chevy Tahoe from the scene.
