The unseasonably warm air will stay with us into this weekend. Rain chances will increase toward late Saturday into Sunday.
Saturday will be warm as well with highs back in the low to mid 70s, but we will start to see some showers out ahead of the main cold front. The best chance for rain in the mountains will come during the morning, then isolated showers through the area into late-day. Rain chance is 40% for western NC and 20% for the Upstate.
Heavier, more widespread rain will arrive on Sunday. The most likely timeframe for rain will be 10AM-3PM. Highs will still manage to get into the 70s with a few t-storms possible. Severe weather isn’t expected though.
A few showers could linger Monday, then we dry out temporarily! The next round of showers comes Wednesday and Thursday ahead of some cooler weather.
