Greenville Co. resident assaulted by home invasion suspects, deputies say

SIMPSONVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

The Greenville County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene of a home invasion on Tuesday.

Deputies said they received the call from a residence on the 300 block of Bethel Road. Multiple deputies and EMS were on scene.

According to deputies, two unknown males entered the home and assaulted the resident before leaving the scene. The victim suffered minor injuries and was not taken to the hospital.

Details about the suspects were limited but deputies said they were two men in dark clothing.
