Unoccupied home destroyed by fire in Anderson Co.

ANDERSON, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Multiple fire crews responded to a fire at an unoccupied residence in Anderson Saturday morning, per dispatch.

The call came in around 10:30 a.m. that a home on the 3500 block of East River Street had caught fire.

Per dispatch, the home was unoccupied. It was deemed a total loss.

Both the Broadway Fire Department and Homeland Park Fire Departments responded.

At this time, the cause of the fire is unknown.
