SPARTANBURG COUNTY (FOX Carolina) -

Troopers said a vehicle crashed into a body of water in Spartanburg County on Sunday.

The call came in at 6:58 p.m.

Troopers said the incident happened at 107 Lake Ridge Lane.

Our FOX Carolina crew at the scene said the driver of the car was able to get out safely, but wasn't sure what exactly happened. The vehicle was fully submerged in the water.

Troopers said a car was turning in a cul-de-sac when the driver said there was a mechanical issue.

Troopers said the car kept moving forward and mad its way to the pond. The driver bailed out of the vehicle before it hit the water, said troopers.

No one was injured during the crash, and Highway Patrol says the vehicle will be fished out of the water on Monday.
