BMW announces hiring event for production, logistics positions at Spartanburg Co. plant.

GREER, SC (FOX Carolina) -

BMW Manufacturing announced Tuesday that they are hiring for production and logistics positions at the Spartanburg County plant.

BMW said MAU Workforce Solutions will be responsible for hiring these new team members.

Interested applicants can attend the job fair at Spartanburg Community College’s Tyger River Campus in Duncan March 13, from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. or apply online at

MAU said these jobs include health, dental, 401(k) and vacation benefits along with highly competitive wages.

BMW announced in June 2017 that it is investing an additional $600 million and add 1,000 jobs at the Spartanburg County plant from 2018 through 2021 to support future generations of X models. The plant produces 1,400 BMW X3, X4, X5 and X6 Sports Activity Vehicles and Coupes each day. The factory employs 10,000 people.
