HENDERSONVILLE, NC (FOX Carolina) -

The Henderson County Sheriff's Office said two people have been arrested on multiple drug and stolen weapons charges.

Deputies said they responded to a domestic disturbance call in the Spartanburg Highway area around 11:05 a.m. on March 4.

The sheriff's office said a caller reported a Ford Excursion driving behind a woman as she walking on US-176. When they arrived on scene, deputies said they found the woman and a male suspect.

The male suspect fled the scene on foot, deputies said. He was later identified as 37-year-old Corbin Burnett of Arden, NC. The sheriff's office said Burnett was found in a nearby grassy area attempting to hide from deputies.

According to the sheriff's office, Burnett and Dibernardino were in an argument prior to the deputies' arrival.

Dibernardino began exhibiting aggressive behavior and became uncooperative with deputies during the investigation, the sheriff's office said.

Deputies said she admitted to being armed with a knife. During the search for the knife, deputies said they also found a loaded concealed handgun, illegal narcotics and drug paraphernalia. The sheriff's office said the handgun was stolen from Transylvania County.

According to deputies, Dibernardino was arrested and charged with the following:
