WEST UNION, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Crime Stoppers of Oconee County and the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office have asked for help tracking down a pickup truck stolen in a burglary at a business in West Union.

A deputy on routine patrol found a gate to Foothills Grading on Highway 11 open and a roll-up door to the business open. Upon closer inspection the deputy found damage to the building and an area where entry had been made on the side of the building.

The owner was called and advised that a white 1997 Ford F-250 single cab service pickup with “Foothills Grading” printed on the side had been stolen.  The pickup has South Carolina license plate EGP843.

Numerous tools, which included chainsaws and power tools, had been stolen as well.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
