ANDERSON, SC (FOX Carolina) -

The Anderson City Police Department said a call about a suspicious found on railroad tracks Thursday night was later deemed unfounded.

Officers said they were called to the railroad tracks near Hwy 29 and McKinney Street off E. River Street. The bomb squad was also called.

The "suspicious package" ended up being a five gallon bucket with a pipe sitting in it.

Police said FBI resources were used but the FBI is not investigating.
