2 arrested after stabbing during Greenville Co. home invasion

GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office said two people have been charged in a home invasion and stabbing that occurred at a home on Hampton Avenue on March 10.

Deputies said a man and a woman forced their way into the apartment and demanded money.

The victim suffered at least one stab wound and the suspects fled the scene with an unknown amount of money.

On March 12, deputies said Sandy Mitchell and Alvin Summons were arrested and charged with burglary, armed robbery, and attempted murder.

Arrest warrants state the victim suffered cuts to the head, face, and torso and that the injuries were severe.
