Deputies track Spartanburg Co. home invasion suspect to Greenville

GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Authorities from multiple agencies were on scene of an incident in Greenville County on Monday afternoon.

According to the Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office, deputies tracked a suspect in a Spartanburg County home invasion to Greenville County.

Highway Patrol troopers pulled a vehicle over on North Pleasantburg Drive where one person was detained.

Deputies said the home invasion occurred at a residence on Lyman Lodge Road. 

The suspect forced his way into the home and demanded money, deputies said. According to the incident report, the suspect struck the victim in the back, choked her, and stole her cellphone. 

Deputies said 44-year-old Allic Andro Singleton was arrested in connection with the incident. The sheriff's office said he was charged with petit larceny, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, armed robbery, and burglary first degree.

Singleton remains in custody at the Spartanburg County Detention Center.
