Bomb team gives all clear after suspicious package left at Henderson Co. Sheriff's Office

HENDERSONVILLE, NC (FOX Carolina) -

Authorities said a suspicious package was determined to be safe at the Henderson County Sheriff's Office  on Tuesday.

Officials said around 2:12 p.m., the suspicious package was left at the sheriff's office. A bomb team and detectives were investigating the scene.

Deputies said a woman picked up a package from the post office form an unknown address. It was an older Amazon box covered in tape.

Just before 3:30 p.m., officials said the scene was cleared and everyone was safe. Bomb techs were able to trace the package and determined it to be safe.
