Police: Students back in class after fire alarm at Mauldin Middle School

MAULDIN, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Mauldin Middle School was briefly evacuated Wednesday morning after a fire alarm went off at the school, according to a school district spokesperson.

The Mauldin Police Department said shortly after 9 a.m. that the evacuation had been lifted and students were returning to class.

Police said someone pulled the fire alarm in the building but there was no fire.
