Flooding prompts road closure in downtown Greenville

GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

The City of Greenville said a road in the downtown area was closed Monday due to flooding.

Many Upstate counties, including Greenville County, are under a flood watch due to heavy rain moving through the area.

Officials said East Park Avenue is closed in front of the Sears Recreation Center at McPherson Park due to water in the roadway.
