The Williamston Police Department issued a warning about a man they said is a known panhandler on Monday.

Officers reported that he has been referred to a faith based institution for help, but refused.

Since then, the man known as Eric Pedrick has been reported to be continuing his panhandling activities, said deputies.

If you encounter Pedrick, the Williamston Police Department advises to call 911 and steer clear of falling for a scam.
