As the low pressure system moves away from the Carolinas, we'll see nice clearing for mid-week. Another disturbance rides through late Thursday into early Friday with more showers ahead of a beautiful weekend.
Mostly sunny skies today bring high temperatures into the mid 70s for the Upstate and upper 60s in the mountains. The Tennessee border will likely hold on to a few clouds and a small chance for a passing shower. Tonight, lows drop into the 50s with a few clouds.
By Thursday we'll see clouds increasing and our chance for showers getting higher, though the morning and lunch hour look to stay dry.
There will be a good chance for rain by late Thursday afternoon into the early part of Friday. Flooding and severe weather won't be big concerns, but we could see enough rain to cause some ponding on roads and aggravate the saturated ground.
Rain moves out Friday by midday, leaving a pleasant Friday evening and weekend. We'll see sunny skies both Saturday and Sunday with highs in the 60s and 70s! Enjoy!
