Landrum High School hosts community blood drive in young girl's memory

LANDRUM, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Landrum High School will host a community blood drive in memory of a ten-year-old girl who passed away after a cancer battle, according to Spartanburg District One Schools.

The blood drive will be held Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in honor of Eliza Cait Millwood.

According to her obituary, Eliza passed away on April 3. She was a fourth grade student at O.P. Earle Elementary School.

Anyone who wishes to donate is asked to bring a Blood Connection Donor Card or a photo ID. $25 per donated unit of blood will go to support the Millwood family, the school district said.
