SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) -

The Spartanburg Police Department is partnering with the Drug Enforcement Administration for a Prescription Drug Take-Back day on Saturday.

Residents with potentially dangerous expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs can dispose of them carefully at the following two locations in Spartanburg:

  1. CVS Pharmacy at 87 Garner Road
  2. Bi-Lo at 2199 Southport Road

The event is taking place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

No liquids, needles or sharps will be accepted, only pills or patches. The service is free and anonymous, no questions asked.
