Coroner identifies Upstate man killed after ejected from pickup truck

WESTMINSTER, SC (FOX Carolina) -

The Oconee County Coroner confirms a Seneca man has died as a result of a single-vehicle crash Saturday morning.

Per the coroner, 22-year-old Austin Tyler Rogers, was discovered deceased on Doyle Street at 6:35 a.m.

Troopers say the collision took place at 6 a.m. on Darce Duval Drive near Doyle Street. They say, Rogers was traveling south on Darce Duval Drive in a Ford Ranger when he ran off the left side of the road, over corrected, ran off the right side of the road, overturned and was ejected.

Troopers confirm, Rogers was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the collision.

Rogers was pronounced dead at the scene due to blunt force trauma, the coroner said.
