Troopers say a victim has died more than a week after a crash in Spartanburg County.

The original incident happened on April 20.

Troopers said the driver of a 1998 Kenwood tractor trailer and 2007 4-door Infiniti were traveling east on I-26. The Infiniti traveled onto the exit ramp for I-85 SB, but when it tried to reenter I-26 and slowed in traffic, it was hit in the rear by the tractor trailer.

Troopers said the passenger in the right rear seat of the Infiniti passed away on April 29 from injuries sustained the crash. She was identified as 83-year-old Jean Fleming Friedmann of Maryland.

The driver of the Infiniti, Tera Anderson of Candler, NC, was charged with one count of impeding traffic, said troopers.
