UNION, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Union police said a man was arrested after he was accused of breaking into a woman’s home, beating her, and then dragging her outside naked.

Police said the crimes happened on the morning of April 28.

Officers arrived to find the 27-year-old victim bleeding from her head. She told them Obediah Talley Jr., her ex-boyfriend, had somehow entered her apartment and assaulted her while she was lying next to her new boyfriend.

Police said they found a blood trail leading from the victim’s bed.

Officers said they were following up with the victim at the hospital when Talley was brought in complaining of chest pains. He denied being in the victim’s apartment when police questioned him. Police accused Talley of making threats toward one of the officers questioning him and said Talley was placed under arrest at the hospital.

Talley was charged with domestic violence first degree, first degree burglary, intimidation of court officials, and public disorderly conduct, per online jail records.
