Warm and dry weather will dominate through the work week. Overnight lows will remain cool, while the afternoons will feature sunshine and close to summer-like temps. Rain is back by late Saturday into Sunday.
Full sunshine today brings highs in the mid 70s to low 80s by the afternoon. Expect a light breeze and low humidity to keep it feeling comfortable, despite the above-average temperatures.
Each day will get slightly warmer for the rest of the week as high pressure remains in control of southeastern US weather. Expect highs in the low to mid-80s by late week in the Upstate and near 80 degrees for the mountains.
A cold front will approach Saturday, and that will increase clouds and rain chances. The best shot for rain on Saturday will be in the mountains, with activity sliding into the Upstate Saturday night into Sunday.
