NEWBERRY, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Lanes have reopened on I-26 West in Newberry County Tuesday morning after a crash involving a tractor trailer shut down the interstate for hours

The crash occurred just after 1:30 a.m. near mile marker 64.

Both westbound lanes were shut down due to the crash.

Troopers asked drivers to avoid the area while crews worked to clear the wreckage and to instead take exit 66 to Highway 76 (Jalapa Highway), then take Highway 66 (in Joanna) back on to I-26 at Exit 60.

Troopers said no one was hurt in the crash.

Around 8:45 a.m. one lane reopened and traffic began moving again.
