GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

The SCDOT said drivers on both I-385 and I-85 will see detours Wednesday night as construction crews pour the concrete deck on a new bridge being built over I-85 as part of the Gateway Project.

The detours will be in effect by 10 p.m.

Drivers on I-385 North must exit onto I-85 North and continue to Exit 56, where they will exit onto Highway 14, then keep left and get back on I-85 South to re-access I-385 North via Exit 51.

Drivers on I-85 North must take the exit ramp for Exit 51-A and then continue along Collector/Distributor lanes to get back onto I-85 North.

Officials said drivers should use extra caution near the interchange Wednesday night and observe all signs and traffic control devices in place.
