HENDERSONVILLE, NC (FOX Carolina) -

Henderson County deputies said four teens were arrested and charged in seven vehicle break-ins that occurred in multiple neighborhoods.

Deputies said they were called to check out a suspicious vehicle on Lumber Road around 3:45 a.m. Wednesday. They found three people in the car and another person nearby.

All four suspects were 16 years old.

Inside the car, deputies said they found several items believed to be stolen.

An investigation was launched and deputies said they learned that the items were stolen from cars that were left unlocked Tuesday night into Wednesday in the High Vista, Glens of Aberdeen, and Riverstone neighborhoods.

Each teen was charged with seven counts of breaking and entering a motor vehicle and seven counts of misdemeanor larceny for a total of 56 charges. Additionally, one teen was charged with possession of marijuana paraphernalia and one count of simple possession of a schedule II controlled substance.

The suspects’ names were not released due to their ages.
