Deputies seeking information in arson that caused $24K in damage to a Greenville Co. school

GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Greenville County deputies are asking for information about an arson that took place at Camperdown Academy back on April 28.

Deputies said at approximately 11:30 p.m., two subjects came onto the campus located at 501 Howell Road.  One of the subjects threw a drink on the entrance doors and then set two recycling bins on fire. 

The subjects then drove off in a dark-colored vehicle heading towards Edwards Road.

Deputies said the fire caused more than $24,000 in damage to the school.

Deputies ask anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers of Greenville at 864-23-CRIME.
