HENDERSONVILLE, NC (FOX Carolina) -

Hendersonville County deputies said an adult and juvenile were charged after being accused of having guns on school grounds.

Deputies said they began investigating on April 28 after someone from another state called to report an alarming Snapchat video.

The video showed a driver and backseat passenger displaying weapons and picking up another person at Rugby Middle School, deputies said

Investigators learned that the video had been recorded at the school earlier in the day and detectives were able to identify the 18-year-old driver, who was seen with a handgun, and the juvenile seen in the back seat, who was seen with an AR-15 style rifle.

The juvenile was charged with one felony count of possession of a weapon on educational property. The suspect's name was not released.

The driver, who deputies identified as Austin Xavier Dunn of Morgan Road in Hendersonville, was charged with one felony count of possession of a weapon on educational property. He was arrested Tuesday and later released from jail on a $2,000 bond.

Deputies said the investigation is ongoing and further charges may be filed.
