HONEA PATH, SC (FOX Carolina) -

The Anderson County Sheriff's Office said an 18-year-old was arrested after a threat made against a high school.

Deputies said they were contacted on Wednesday after Quindarius Morrison was overheard saying he would "shoot up the school if he did not graduate... Just wait and see."

A classmate told deputies Morrison did not appear to be joking when he made the statement.

Morrison was arrested and charged with disturbing schools. He is currently being held at the Anderson County Detention Center.
