GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Officials with the BMW Charity Pro-Am said some of the most well-known celebrities competing in the annual charity golf tournament will also try their hand at softball later this month.

The first ever All-Star Celebrity Softball Game will be played on May 17 at Fluor Field.

The game will feature two teams of athletes, actors, and entertainers lead by team captains Larry the Cable Guy and John O’Hurley, and Alfonso Riberio and Rob Riggle.

“This is the first year for The All-Star Celebrity Softball Game, and we feel this is a great way to extend the reach and impact of the Tournament beyond the golf course,” said Steve Sellery, Executive Director, BMW Charity Pro-Am, in a news release. “We are proud to be partnering with The Greenville Drive and Fluor Field to stage this event at such a remarkable and revered venue, and trust that this will become an annual tradition the community and our visiting celebrities will look forward to each year.”

Tickets can be purchased at the Fluor Field Box Office or online. Tickets will guarantee access to both the Greenville Drive game and the Celebrity Softball game.

May 17 will also be Dollar Drink Night at the baseball stadium, according to the website.
