ANDERSON, SC (FOX Carolina) -

A man is facing a list of charges, including attempted murder, after he was arrested by Anderson County deputies over the weekend.

According to online jail records, Bradley Carter Aldrich, 29, was arrested Sunday. Deputies said they were called to a residence in the 700 block of Woodmont Circle in regards to a shooting.

When deputies arrived on scene, they found a male victim with gunshot wounds to the chest, leg and arm. Aldrich was arrested in connection with the shooting.

He is charged with attempted murder, possession of meth with intent to distribute, possession of a controlled substance, and two counts of resisting arrest.

Officials confirmed Aldrich is the grandson of 79-year-old Judith Calvert and son of 50-year-old Theresa Wright, who were found brutally slain in their home on Overbrooke Drive on Sunday. Authorities have not said the two incidents are related.

Aldrich appeared before a judge Monday morning for a bond hearing. The judge was unable to set bond because he said Aldrich had previously tried to escape from police custody.

He asked the judge to look at his face and brought attention to a black eye, which he claimed he suffered during the arrest.

Aldrich seemed to struggle while trying to electronically sign the documents at the end of the hearing, having to make several frustrated attempts and then throwing the electronic pen down afterward.
