SENECA, SC (FOX Carolina) -

The Oconee County Sheriff's Office said two suspects were arrested on drug charges after a traffic stop Sunday.

Deputies say, they performed a traffic stop on a vehicle they observed cross the center line into the wrong lane of travel at the intersection of Rick Kelley Lane and Stacey Kelley Drive near Seneca.

After a search, deputies say they recovered prescription medication for which the driver, 30-year-old Jonathan Paul Craig, did not have a prescription for.

Deputies said, they also located a firearm and some clear plastic bags of methamphetamine on the passenger in the vehicle, 36-year-old Rebecca Lynn Jones. She was charged with trafficking in methamphetamine  - 3rd or subsequent offense and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime.

Jones was also served a warrant for a probation violation.

Craig was charged with possession of a controlled substance.

Jones and Craig were placed under arrest and transported to the Oconee County Detention Center where they await a bond hearing.
