SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) -

The Solicitor's Office said a teenager is facing prison time after he pleaded guilty in connection with a deadly Spartanburg shooting.

The Spartanburg Police Department responded to Biggerstaff Grocery in August 2017 where they found three male victims with gunshot wounds. Tyshann Rashad Smith, 28, and Raymond Turner, 21, succumbed to injuries after the incident.

Three different types of shell casings were found at the scene.

A suspect connected to one of the men's shooting death, 19-year-old Gettis Chambers, was later arrested in Maryland.

According to the solicitor, Smith shot Turner before being shot twice in the back by Chambers.

Chambers, who had no prior criminal record, pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

He was sentenced to 28 years in prison and will have to serve 85 percent of the sentence before he is eligible for release.
