Power outages linger Tuesday after overnight storms

ANDERSON, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Power outages continued Tuesday morning for more than 2,000 Duke Energy customers in the Upstate after storms pushed through the area Monday night.

According to Duke’s online outage map, 2,121 were without power as of 7:30 a.m.

The greatest number of outages was in Anderson County, where 1,227 people were without power. Pockets of outages were reported across the county but the largest pocket was in the Northlake area between Centerville Road and Clemson Highway.

Spartanburg County also has 811 outages. The largest pocket was in Reidville between SC 101 and Brocklan McClimon Road.

Only 83 outages were reported in Greenville County.
