GREER, SC (FOX Carolina) -

The Greer Police Department says a woman has been charged with felony DUI with great bodily injury in connection with a February crash.

Officers said Shalynn Renee Zarczynski was the driver of a 2004 Chevrolet Avalanche that was involved in a single vehicle collision on Brushy Creek Road on February 7.

According to the arrest warrant, the crash left her passenger in a "permanent vegetative state."

Zarczynski's blood alcohol concentration was .182 at the time of the collision, the arrest warrant stated.

Officers said she turned herself in at the Greer Police Department on Thursday.

On May 10, Zarczynski received $50,000 cash assurity bond and was ordered no contact with the victim's family. She was placed on house arrest and will have to wear a scram monitor, which measures alcohol intake.
