PICKENS, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Pickens High School was closed Monday due to a water outage, according to the Pickens County School District.

AP exams, which are being held at another location, will continue as scheduled.

End-of-Course Exams will be rescheduled.

“A water line broke somewhere in the city of Pickens, and we don’t have a clear timeline for repair, so school had to be canceled,” said John Eby, a spokesman for the school district.

Eby said plans for a make-up day will be announced later.
