Greenville County Council members meet to discuss issues with philanthropic, nonprofit groups

FOX Carolina’s Diana Watson will moderate a discussion between Greenville County Council members and philanthropic and nonprofit executives on workforce development, housing, transportation and growth Monday.

The Greenville Partnership for Philanthropy said the discussion will be from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Center, located at 424 Westfield Street in Greenville.

Members of the Greenville Partnership for include United Way of Greenville County, Hollingsworth Funds, the Community Foundation of Greenville, Fluor, ScanSource, and others. The Nonprofit Alliance includes Loaves and Fishes, Rebuild Upstate, Junior Achievement, Miracle Hill Ministries, CommunityWorks, and many others.
