Troopers: Pickup truck strikes pedestrian at Dorman HS

SPARTANBURG COUNTY (FOX Carolina) -

On Monday morning a driver of a pickup truck struck a pedestrian on the campus of Dorman High School. 

According to troopers, the driver of the pickup was Richard Wadell, 58, from Greer. 

Troopers said Wadell was turning right onto Cavalier Drive, on the Dorman campus, when he struck the pedestrian, Randy Lee Miller, 56. 

Miller was taken to Spartanburg Regional Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, per troopers. 

According to the report, the driver of the pickup truck was ticketed with failed to yield right of way.
