Amber Alert canceled after police locate North Carolina infant

BURLINGTON, NC (FOX Carolina) -

An Amber Alert issued early Tuesday morning for a four-month-old girl who police believe was abducted from Burlington, NC was canceled before 5:30 a.m.

The Burlington Police Department said Eliana Serrato and the suspect, 19-year-old Ruben Hernandez, were last seen traveling northbound from 513 South Ireland Street in a red 2003 Toyota Corolla with NC license plate VD93714.

Eliana was last seen wearing a light pink onesie with polka dots. She is two feet tall and weighs ten pounds. She had brown hair and eyes.

Hernandez was last seen wearing a black shirt, tan pants and white shoes. He is six feet tall and weighs 160 pounds.

Just before 5:30 a.m. Amber Alert tweeted on their official page that the alert had been canceled and that Eliana had been found.

No other details were immediately available.
