FOUNTAIN INN, SC (FOX Carolina) -

The Greenville County Coroner's Office responded to a deadly collision on I-385 Tuesday.

The crash was reported on I-385 southbound between mile markers 23 and 24 just after noon.

Troopers said all lanes were blocked due to the crash at mile marker 23. A dump truck was involved in the collision.

The coroner's office said three vehicles total were involved. Of those involved, one person was pronounced dead on scene at approximately 12:25 p.m.

Per the coroner, the victim was identified as 54-year-old David Gene Gray of Mauldin.

Gray died from blunt force trauma to the head and neck, the coroner said.

Troopers say Gray was one of two drivers heading south on I-385 near mile marker 23 when a third driver in a Mack Truck struck his car in the rear. Gray then struck the other vehicle.

The driver of the Mack Truck was charged with traveling too fast for conditions.
