Pickens County Fire Chiefs Association Golf Tournament postponed due to rain

EASLEY, SC (FOX Carolina) -

The Pickens County Fire Chiefs Association Golf Tournament scheduled for Wednesday was postponed due to the rain.

The tournament will now be held on May 23 at the Rolling Green Golf Club in Easley.

Organizers said money raised from the golf tournament supports fire prevention in the county and helps fund training, tools, and the Child Safety House. 

Registration with coffee and biscuits at 8 a.m.

Shotgun starts at 9 a.m. The tournament is a four-member Captains Choice format.

Outback Steakhouse will provide lunch at the end of the 18 holes.

FOX Carolina’s Shale Remein will emcee the awards ceremony after the tournament.
