Pickens Co. deputies ask for public's help in identifying two copper theft suspects

PICKENS, SC (FOX Carolina) -

The Pickens County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's assistance in identifying two men accused of stealing copper wire. 

Deputies said the suspects took over 200 feet of copper wire that belonged to AT&T. 

According to deputies, AT&T employees discovered an operational phone cable had been cut and removed from a system on Dacusville Highway near North Ballard Drive.

The sheriff's office said the copper is valued at $2,000. 

Anyone with information regarding the identity of the suspects is asked to contact the sheriff's office at (864)-898-5501 or Crime Stoppers at 1-888-CRIMESC.
