Deputies: Pickens Co. man arrested after stealing bread truck

PICKENS COUNTY, SOUTH CAROLINA (FOX Carolina) -

The Pickens County Sheriff's Office said a Six Mile man has been arrested after stealing a bread truck. 

Deputies said the truck was reported stolen around 8:30 a.m. on Thursday. The truck was stolen from the parking lot of the Dollar General Store on Liberty Highway.

According to deputies, multiple witnesses at the store saw the suspect drive away in the truck at a high rate of speed. 

The truck was later located on Mountain View Church Road where the suspect was distributing bread from the truck, deputies said. 

The sheriff's office said 27-year-old Kyle Daniel Moon was arrested in connection with the theft. 

Moon is currently being held at the Pickens County Detention Center.
