Coroner identifies body of missing person located in Greenville Co.

GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

The Greenville County Coroner confirms a death investigation is taking place on Odom Circle Saturday afternoon.

The Greenville County Sheriff's Office said the call came in at 11:04 a.m. at Odom Circle and Highlawn Avenue.

Deputies confirm, the deceased has been identified as a missing person that was reported to the Sheriff's Office on May 18.

The coroner identified the man as 22-year-old Michael Thomas Arnold III of Greenville.

Per the coroner, Arnold was discovered lying unresponsive in a lot behind "Casa De Misericordia" church on Odom Circle in Greenville.

At this time, few details are available.

An autopsy has been scheduled for Monday.
