SCDOT: Lane closure begins Tuesday for concrete patching on I-26 in Laurens Co.

CLINTON, SC (FOX Carolina) -

The South Carolina Department of Transportation said one lane of I-26 East in Laurens County will close Tuesday for concrete deck patching.

The construction will take place along a half-mile stretch of interstate at mile marker 56.

The closure will begin by 8 a.m. and workers will be present around the clock.

The SCDOT said work should be completed on Thursday, weather permitting.

Drivers are urged to use extra caution while traveling through the work zone.
