HENDERSONVILLE, NC (FOX Carolina) -

Deputies in Henderson County said a man wanted on existing felony charges was arrested after a chase through two counties early Wednesday morning.

Deputies said they saw Robert Edward Rogall’s vehicle just after midnight on Trailside Court in the Etowah community.

Deputies tried to pull over the blue Dodge Caravan but said Rogall sped away on Brevard Road.

The chase ended in Transylvania County with assistance from deputies there and Brevard police.

Stop sticks were deployed on NC 280, but Rogall continued onto a private drive on Wave Whitaker Road where deputies said he rammed a gate. When the Caravan stalled, deputies said Rogall fled on foot.

He was located and arrested a short time later.

Two other people were in the vehicle but were released without any charges.

Rogall, 21, of Hendersonville was charged with 2 felony counts of fleeing to elude arrest and traffic violations including reckless driving, failure to stop, speeding, and failure to wear a seat belt. Rogall was also served with outstanding warrants that included failure to appear on a felony possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver cocaine charge and failure to appear on a misdemeanor marijuana possession charge.
