GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Crews spent Wednesday night working to repair a broken water main in Greenville, said officials with Greenville Water.

Company communications manager Olivia Sloan said the 6" water main is on Laurens Road at Haviland.

Sloan said there is a lane closure on the eastbound side of Laurens Road and Greenville Police Department is handling traffic flow.

A large hole could be seen in the road near Washington Avenue. Police had the area closed off.

By 3 a.m., the hole had been patched and Laurens Road had reopened.

About 15 Greenville Water customers lost water while crews repaired the broken line.

There is no boil water advisory in place.
