Deputies locate runaway 13-year-old safe

GREENVILLE COUNTY, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Greenville County deputies said a 13-year-old girl who is believed to have ran away from her home early Thursday has been found safe.

The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office said Claire Browning Cox was reported as a possible runaway around 5:30 a.m. by her parents.

Claire was wearing a light blue t-shirt and black shorts when her parents last saw her around 1 a.m.

Claire is 5’4” tall, weighs 120 pounds, and has brown hair and brown eyes. 

Deputies asked for people to be on the lookout for the girl Thursday morning but said just after 9:30 a.m. that Claire had been found and returned safely to her family.
