Deputies: Lockdown lifted at Henderson Co. high school after 'unverified online safety concern'

HENDERSONVILLE, NC (FOX Carolina) -

The Henderson County Sheriff's Office said  a precautionary lockdown at West Henderson High School has been lifted. 

Deputies said just before 2 p.m. on Thursday that the school was on lockdown but all students were safe after an "unverified online safety concern."

According to law enforcement the concern related to a social media post.
